WORLDWEBFORUM 2017 is already history. This years event brought together the “Who is Who” among Swiss managers, innovative strategists and entrepreneurs from the U.S. According to the credo “transform yourself”.

Listed among the Swiss top events in the digital field, WORLDWEBFORUM was held already for the 6th time in Zurich – given the motto “transformation”.

Regarding the omnipresence of the topic of digitization, presentations and discussions based on the idea: “Who knows how to transform themself can also transform everything else”.

Amongst the key note speakers were Marian Goodell, Founding Member & CEO of the Burning Man Festival, Jeff Eggers, Principal Advisor of President Obama, Anita Roth of Airbnb, Ed Catmull, Co-Founder & President of Pixar, and Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web. They gave the astonished listeners insights in their challenges and projects and helped to look at transformation from different points of view. From small to large, from individual to transformation of society and the world. Uncovered insights were also given to visitors in the breakout sessions and in the fireside chats of the arena.

But there was also a very special moment for us on stage, when Marc Walder, CEO of Ringier, handed out the official “Digital Manifesto of Switzerland” to Federal Council Johann Schneider-Ammann. A very proud moment.

WORLDWEBFORUM was developed and is now flagship of the initiative digitalswitzerland, which aims to position Switzerland as a Digital-Hub on the international Innovation map.
