It’s no secret that the relevance of tech will keep increasing over the coming years. Sooner or later, digitalization and its impact will therefore become a strategic focus for every company – from the large, international corporations to the local SMEs.

For this reason the Council of ZFH (Fachhochschulrat der Zürcher Fachhochschule) has approved the appointment of the first ever Institute for Digital Business at HWZ, Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich. With this Institute HWZ strengthens its national leading role in digital education. It is an evolution of the successful launch of Switzerland’s first (and thus far only) Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Digital Business, four years ago. The main goal of the Institute for Digital Business is to help Swiss companies identify potentials of digitalization and to empower decision-makers with the necessary tools to successfully master digital transformation. The institute offers knowledge in the form of courses, workshops and consulting as well as various studies. In the future, the Institute for Digital Business plans to extend its research services for companies and strengthen the transfer of applicable knowledge between Swiss companies by refining the MAS Digital Business.
