After three years, our President Ivo Furrer will step down from his position as of 1 July 2021. He remains an active member of digitalswitzerland’s Executive Committee and will thus continue to play an important role in the future.
Ivo Furrer deserves our enormous thanks for his successful presidency. Under his leadership, the strategically important merger between ICTswitzerland and digitalswitzerland was successful, many programmes have developed strongly throughout Switzerland, and the number of members has grown to over 210.
The Nomination Committee proposes to nominate Sascha Zahnd as his successor after a comprehensive search. Sascha Zahnd most recently worked as Head of Global Supply Chain and Head of EMEA at Tesla. His nomination has to be confirmed by the General Assembly on 27 May 2021.
