People, Culture and Mindset

We enable a meaningful dialogue with the public on digital transformation. We offer a platform for concerns, questions and topics by bringing together citizens with experts and policy makers.

Enabling transversal dialogue

Digitalisation is part of our daily lives. It impacts our communication, health, work, politics, economy and private realm. digitalswitzerland provides a platform for transversal dialogue, relevant content and tools to create a positive impact and to show the benefits and risks of a digital society. Everyone can take part in this dialogue and invited to do so.

Swiss Digital Days

Swiss Digital Days bridge the digital divide and empower individuals to fully participate in digital society and economy. This initiative is an annual national movement taking place in autumn. Cities, cantons and companies unite people of all ages, digital enthusiasts, newcomers, industry experts, policy makers and businesses to talk and learn about digitalisation. The programme fosters collaboration, new ways of thinking and a vibrant debate on varied digital topics. Learn new skills, discuss ideas and embrace new digital horizons.

#herHACK female-led hackathon

We are proud to support women and other underrepresented groups. The promotion of women in technical professions is more relevant than ever, given the increasing shortage of skilled workers. With a share of more than 80 percent, men still dominate the tech industry. It makes it more difficult for women and other underrepresented groups to gain a foothold in this field. With #herHACK, we bring together professionals to work on creative and sustainable solutions for some of the most pressing issues we face today. We create a working environment to inspire female and non-binary individuals to work in tech and allow them to build a network of like-minded professionals.

NextGen Future Skills

This initiative encourages children and adolescents who are interested in subjects in the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM subjects). It empowers them to identify and develop hard and soft skills relevant to the future.
