What we do

  • Addressing Skills Shortage: We work to increase the number of ICT professionals to guarantee competitiveness, specifically focusing on apprenticeships as highlighted by the "Bedarfsprognose 2033". We collaborate closely with ICT-Berufsbildung Schweiz on this mandate.

  • Enabling Transformation: We enable SMEs and members to master digital transformation by exchanging best practices on AI adoption and upskilling. Our "Playbook for AI Adoption" provides leaders with practical guidance to ensure long-term business success.

  • Society & Inclusion: We address public concerns to ensure everyone benefits from new technologies. We co-publish the "DigitalBarometer" to monitor public perception and drive e-accessibility as a co-founder of ADIS (Alliance for Digital Inclusion in Switzerland).

From AI Potential to Public Value: Switzerland’s Digital Agenda at Davos 2026

On 20 January 2026, digitalswitzerland hosted four high-profile events on the occasion of the World Economic Forum in Davos. From a morning discussion on Switzerland’s AI innovation potential and digital infrastructure, to an expert exchange on geopolitics and cybersecurity, a lunch session on global AI governance, and concluding with an afternoon focused on AI literacy and the future of work, the day highlighted Switzerland’s approach to scaling artificial intelligence responsibly.

Defining the AI Agenda: Our Roadmap for Davos

In one week, the global spotlight turns to Davos. The stakes for digital leadership have never been higher, and Switzerland has a crucial role to play.
