digitalswitzerland brings together business, academia, and the public sector. With a diverse membership of 140+ organisations, we accelerate essential digital initiatives that no single sector can solve alone.
Swiss AI Action Plan: Operationalising the strategic roadmap to unlock economic impact through widespread AI adoption and R&D innovation.
Digital Literacy & Future of Work: Business must equip the Swiss population and workforce with essential skills to thrive in an AI-driven economy and society.
Securing Infrastructure: We are strengthening the digital foundation through secure data spaces, digital identities, and robust cybersecurity. By leveraging industry self-commitments, we create an environment where innovation can thrive.
Trust & Governance: Establishing clear frameworks to ensure the fully compliant, responsible, ethical, and secure use of current and emerging technologies.
Digital Sovereignty: Retaining self-determination and actively managing critical dependencies.
We advocate for progress and already drive it. We enable coordinated national action through five strategic pillars:
Initiatives & Projects | Orchestrating Impact: We launch and coordinate impactful, cross-sector programmes that accelerate digital progress. A prime example is the AI Action Plan where we align public and private action to build a robust infrastructure for the future
Policy & Dialogue | Shaping Frameworks: We engage with all levels of government in a pragmatic and constructive manner to shape the right framework conditions. By introducing our own proposals and participating in key platforms like the Parliamentary Group Cyber we foster a direct and constructive exchange between the digital economy and federal policymakers in Bern.
Collaboration & Exchange | Connecting Leaders: We provide the stage for high-level dialogue. Through exclusive formats like the Digital Gipfel Schweiz, events during WEF, and regional gatherings, we spark new ideas and alliances.
Education & Literacy | Securing the Future: Digital transformation relies on people. We work to close the skills gap by strengthening vocational training with ICT-Berufsbildung Schweiz and empowering the current workforce through practical adoption tools like the SME AI Playbook.
Public Engagement | Building Trust: Technology only works if society trusts it. We actively engage the public by fostering understanding, inviting people to experience AI and promoting digital literacy to ensure an inclusive transition for the entire population.
These are the people that dream up new ideas, open doors and turn them into concrete projects. Explore to see our team, board members, steering committee, and our committees & working groups.
